Phase 1 comprises a new plant holding warehouse with extensive use of high performance glazing, new overflow car parks, and re-surfacing and laying out of the first phase of the existing car park.

Phase 2 consists of a new extension which will include retail space for new franchise operators at ground floor level, with extended café facility and new office space at first floor level. There are also proposals to extend the existing restaurant catering facilities and provide additional warehouse facilities.

The project includes a new roundabout to be built on the existing highway A574 (Warrington Road).

The project will be undertaken on a live retail environment, with special consideration given to the health and safety of the general public and members of the client's staff.

There is also an existing public footpath route across the site, and close liaison with the local authority will be engaged to maintain the health and safety of the general public.
