Clitheroe Health Centre

Clitheroe Community Hospital is a £7.4 million, state-of-the-art development in the Ribble Valley.

The new, two-storey, 4,050 square metre hospital revolutionises health care provision in the Ribble Valley providing new facilities which include a dentistry, an integrated therapies suite, bringing together, rehabilitation, physiotherapy and occupational therapy, as well as space to provide a range of outpatient' clinics and consultant led appointments.

The building has been designed to achieve a Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method (BREEAM) Excellent Rating and includes a range of energy efficient measures.

During construction, East Lancashire Building Partnerships and Eric Wright Construction have been working with the local community to ensure the environment is sensitive and supportive to the needs of people with dementia and those undergoing rehabilitation.
