Client: Blackpool Authority

Location: Blackpool, Lancashire

Duration: 25 Years

Completion: September 2012

We were involved in the development of the project design from a FM perspective from the start, working closely with colleagues within the Eric Wright Group.

The knowledge and risk transfer benefits of using the same contractor for the maintenance and subsequent replacement elements of the contract during the operational phase are clear i.e., Eric Wright FM have a detailed knowledge of the design and installation and are incentivised to get the design and install elements right as they are responsible for the maintenance and replacement over the concession.

To maximise the effectiveness of the Eric Wright FM's maintenance resource the premises management teams at the schools undergo training in a number of specific non-specialist maintenance tasks.
