Ireland Bridge

Ireland Bridge is a Grade 2 listed highway structure, a seven span masonry arch bridge over the River Aire.

The remedial works required the removal of the parapet and spandrel walls, with each stone recorded, labelled and reinstated in exactly their original position. Other works included grouting, excavation of fill on the arches, removal of redundant services, repointing and provision of reinforced concrete strengthening beams.
