The project has a number of phases, beginning with the new build of an innovative 21st Century learning environment for the lower school. Following this, a remaining major phase will extend the existing school hall in order to address poor circulation issues around the school. The roof will be partially removed to the hall and a modern gallery walkway added to help establish improved links with the upper and lower schools.

The project involves part demolition, new build accommodation and general refurbishment to the primary school which will remain in full occupation throughout. Safety of pupils, staff and school users will remain of high importance throughout the project duration. Planning and management of logistics will ensure continuing operation of the school which is located in a residential area with limited access.

Supporting a 21st Century learning experience, the ICT infrastructure will be upgraded throughout the school. This will create a fully compliant and modern ICT facility which will be available for use by both the school and its local community.

The LEP Limited is a Public Private Partnership between The Eric Wright Group, Blackpool Council and Northgate Managed Services and has been established to deliver a number of buildings and services which will inspire, transform and provide significant benefits to the people of Blackpool.
