The Eric Wright Learning Foundation
Eric Wright Learning Foundation sponsors a ‘real work environment’ in partnership with Preston’s College for students studying vocational courses from age 14+ through to adult learners.
Eric Wright Learning Foundation was originally founded in 2005 in Leyland as a partnership between Lancashire Education Business Partnership, Lancashire County Council, the Learning and Skills Council, South Ribble Learning Federation and the Eric Wright Group. The Foundation delivered the Young Apprentice Scheme for 14-16 year olds, Foundation Level BTEC Certificate, Level 2 BTEC First Diploma, Year 8 taster courses and NEET training during school holidays at Leyland.
Today the Foundation is financed by The Eric Wright Charitable Trust and is delighted to have partnered with Preston’s College enabling us to support more young learners across a wider range of vocational programmes.
