The Mayor of Chorley has announced details of her biggest fundraising event of the year.
Councillor Hasina Khan will be hosting a Valentine’s Bollywood Ball on 14 February 2020.
The event, sponsored by Eric Wright Construction, will include an Asian buffet disco from DJ Kash, Bollywood entertainment, special prize draw and auction.
All proceeds will go to the Mayor’s Charity Appeal in aid of Derian House Children’s Hospice, Home-Start Central Lancashire, the Chorley branch of the Royal British Legion and Environmental Projects in Chorley.
Councillor Khan said “The Mayor’s Charity Ball is the highlight of the mayoral calendar and with a Bollywood inspired theme this year, it’s sure to be great fun with Bollywood dancers, drummers and even the chance to have a henna tattoo in return for a donation to my charity appeal”.
